No additional cancellation charges apply for cancellations made up to 15 days before arrival. For cancellations made between 14 and 1 day prior to arrival, 30% of the total booking amount will be charged. Cancellations on the day of arrival incur a fee of 100% of the total booking amount. In the event of early departure, late arrival or no-show, a cancellation fee of 100% will be charged for the booked but unused days.

A traditional family-run hotel with a history dating back to 1911

Kalterer See Hof was built in 1911 and opened in 1912. At that time, Kalterer See lake still retained its original, unspoilt character. Since 1932, the hotel has been owned by the Peterlin family and is now run by the third generation. Over the years, Kalterer See Hof has been continuously developed. Surrounded by vineyards, trees and flowers, Kalterer See Hof is a place with history that has nonetheless remained open and full of life.

Kaltern am See combines a Mediterranean way of life with an Alpine landscape and is considered one of the most charming places in South Tyrol. Kalterer See lake, the warmest bathing lake in the Alps, lies nestled among vineyards and gentle hills and shapes both the appearance of the village and the lifestyle of the region. The centre of Kaltern, with its cafés, small shops and regular events, is easily accessible and invites you to stroll and linger. Thanks to the good bus connections, nearby villages, viewpoints and hiking areas can be easily reached, making your stay particularly flexible.

Kaltern is renowned far beyond the region for its wine culture – a reputation reflected in its many events.
